Linda Allen

CPT, 5th Degree Black Belt, Senior Fitness Instructor

Linda brings a lifetime of athletic experience and disciplined movement practice to her work as a personal trainer. She competed as a gymnast through high school and her undergraduate years and has spent over 16 years training in Taekwondo. She is a 5th-degree black belt and certified instructor, reflecting both her technical mastery and her ability to teach, mentor, and develop others. Equestrian activities have also long been—and continue to be—a central part of her daily life.

Despite years of high-level training, Linda came to understand that performance alone does not guarantee longevity. After a shoulder injury more than a decade ago, she began working with Kevin, an experience that reshaped her understanding of movement, recovery, and body maintenance. This marked a turning point—shifting her focus from simply training hard to training intelligently, with an emphasis on joint health, resilience, and sustainable function.

As a member of the Northwest Fitness & Wellbeing team, Linda is passionate about helping clients build strength, move with confidence, and support their bodies for the long term. Her approach blends athletic discipline with thoughtful, day-to-day movement practices that help people feel capable, resilient, and empowered in their daily lives.
