About Kevin Pedrey

Owner, LMT, CPT, KRT Stretch Therapist, Health Coach

Kevin Pedrey is the founder and driving force behind Northwest Fitness and Wellness Center, where he has created a space centered around movement, healing, strength, rehabilitation, and whole-body wellness. His mission is to help people reconnect with their bodies, overcome physical limitations, restore confidence, and build healthier, more resilient lives through education, hands-on care, and purposeful movement.

With more than 25 years of experience in the health, fitness, massage, and wellness industry, Kevin has worked extensively with individuals dealing with chronic pain, injury recovery, mobility restrictions, muscular imbalances, and long-standing movement challenges. His work focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying factors that contribute to pain and dysfunction, helping clients move better, feel better, and live more active and healthy lifestyles.

Kevin specializes in corrective exercise, stretching therapy, rehabilitation-based movement systems, strength and conditioning, massage therapy, and wellness coaching. His approach integrates movement science, therapeutic bodywork, functional fitness, recovery practices, and lifestyle-based wellness strategies to help clients improve mobility, reduce pain, build strength, and develop sustainable healthy habits.

He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and a Licensed Massage Therapist who graduated from the Humanities School of Massage in Pinellas Park, Florida. His training includes therapeutic massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, active isolated stretching, and functional movement systems.

Committed to lifelong learning, Kevin has pursued advanced education in rehabilitation-focused movement systems, therapeutic bodywork, recovery therapies, and holistic wellness practices. His additional certifications and professional training include NeuroKinetic Therapy, Reiki, kettlebell coaching, TRX training, cupping therapy, herbal studies, advanced stretching therapy, mobility systems, and self-care practices.

In 2016, after more than 13 years of Tai Chi practice, Kevin became certified to teach Yang Style Tai Chi through the Gilman Studio in Port Townsend. His background in Tai Chi continues to influence his philosophy of body awareness, breathing, balance, recovery, and long-term wellness.

Drawing from decades of hands-on experience and continuing education, Kevin has developed an integrated approach that combines assisted stretching, corrective exercise, strength training, therapeutic bodywork, recovery practices, and wellness coaching. He works with individuals of all backgrounds—from those recovering from pain and injury to those seeking improved mobility, flexibility, posture, strength, athletic performance, and overall health.

Known for his practical, hands-on approach and passion for education, Kevin believes true wellness extends beyond exercise alone. His goal is to create an empowering environment where people feel supported, informed, and capable of making meaningful, lasting improvements in their health, movement, and quality of life.
